What We’ll Discuss at the Workshop

The purpose of this workshop is to provide different strategies on how to secure a research position at FIU. Amanda Barreto (URS President) and other members of URS’ E-Board will review in-depth and step-by-step on how to do an FIU research search, emailing potential mentors, applying to undergraduate fellowships (MARC U*STAR, QBIC, CURE, UtGP, McNair, etc.), and finding summer research programs. Questions and concerns will be answered.
